Southeast Service Area
With the birthplace of Rhode Island Boy Scouts (RIBS) and over 100 years of Scouting along the Southcoast of Massachusetts, the Southeast Service Area has a rich and profoundly impactful history. Since 1910, the area has produced more than 4,000 Eagle Scouts, tens of thousands of community leaders, and millions of hours of fun. The Service Area is comprised of the following communities:
New Bedford, Acushnet, Fairhaven, Dartmouth Marion, Mattapoisett, Rochester, Wareham, Fall River, Somerset, Westport, Swansea, Seekonk, Portmouth, Middletown, Newport, Tiverton, Little Compton, East Providence, Bristol, Warren, Barrington
